What are the main features of septic inflammation

The characteristics of purulent inflammation, mainly as follows: 1, pathology: mainly manifested as a large number of neutrophil exudation, accompanied by necrosis of tissues as well as the formation of pus; 2, clinical symptoms: if the scope of inflammation is large, there may be fever, local inflammation, which is manifested as redness, swelling, heat and pain. Some patients have shallow infected areas, and localized inflammation can be seen. In some patients, the site of infection is deeper, such as deep septic inflammation, which can form abscesses in deep muscle tissues, and the painful symptoms may be more insidious or inconspicuous, manifesting only as fever. Common pathogens that cause suppurative inflammation include Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli, and, less commonly, Klebsiella pneumoniae. The management of suppurative inflammation involves incision and drainage if an abscess forms, as well as the application of effective antibiotics. When incision and drainage is performed, bacterial culture and drug sensitivity testing are recommended, and effective antibiotics can be selected based on drug sensitivity, which is usually more effective.
