This year is the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese aviation industry, and we talked about our experiences at the party committee symposium. Today, the leadership of the hospital asked me to use this opportunity to tell you about my experience, feelings and experiences. I entered the aviation system in 1968 and have walked together through thick and thin. 40 years, my colleagues and I have treated hundreds of thousands of patients and successfully rescued hundreds of critically ill patients without a single medical incident. We have received nearly 100 banners and mirror plaques, refused to accept more than 50,000 RMB in red envelopes, published more than 50 papers, won two awards for scientific research achievements, and received many awards and commendations. He has been invited to international conferences three times. In 1990, he was honored as an excellent communist member of the Ministry of Aviation and the State Industrial Committee, and was received by Jiang Zemin and other national leaders in the Great Hall of the People. I know that the above achievements are inseparable from the care of the leaders, the strong support and help from colleagues and fellow workers, as well as my simple gratitude, aviation complex and the influence of strict, serious and diligent Concord spirit. I come from a poor peasant family in northern Jiangsu, and it was the Party and the people who nurtured our family to graduate from Xiehe and one from the University of Science and Technology of China. Therefore, I set my mind early on to listen to Chairman Mao, follow the Communist Party, learn from Comrade Lei Feng (a clear stance of love and hate, the spirit of helping people, looking down in life and up in work), and be a good doctor in the style of Baikouen (extreme responsibility for work, extreme enthusiasm for comrades and people, and excellence in technology). I wrote on my university assignment volunteer letter: I have nothing to do with life, let the party needs, where the need for people, will be transferred there. Listen to the allocation team comrades said: first the Ministry of Forestry wanted me, and then was assigned by the National Defense Science and Technology Commission to Luoyang Fire Control Institute, and become an aviation people. Many decades of experience, mainly on three points, if a little help and inspiration to everyone, it is very satisfactory. One. When the leadership, pioneering and enterprising, strive for first-class When the leadership of small to team leaders, large to the President of the State, the Minister should do a good job, strive for first-class. I have served as the director of the health clinic, the director of the outpatient department, the director of the staff hospital, the director of the second department of internal medicine. To get the job done, I know that we must rely on the organization, unite the masses, lead by example, fair and honest, not afraid of difficulties, pioneering, we will be able to gradually open up the situation and achieve results. As a medical unit of the Institute, the work to create first-class, first of all, to serve the staff well, more services. We grasp common disease prevention and treatment, vaccination, health checkup, environmental disinfection, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease treatment and timely transfer. In 1970, we represented the whole institute to participate in the Third Air Force Congress. In addition, we make use of the favorable conditions of the institute to actively carry out medical research, improve the level of diagnosis and treatment, expand our influence and fight for a place in the medical market. Observation on the efficacy of treating 100 cases of coronary heart disease was published in the inaugural issue of Aviation Medicine in 1986.” Ultrasonic irradiation of rabbits experimental research” has some clinical guidance, in 1974 in the national ultrasound academic conference exchange. Beijing opera actress Xin Fengxia saw the article and went to Luoyang for treatment. When she went to the hospital, she was carried on her back, and when she was discharged, she walked out of the Beijing station alone and started to sing for the first time after 10 years of illness. In order to improve the work of the second department of internal medicine, the following measures are mainly taken, one is to ward as home, one heart for the department, every day early to come and go late, go out to return to the hospital, will first go to the ward to check, holiday is the initiative more on duty. At that time, the new hospital, we use less money to do more, the introduction of laser therapy and extracorporeal antiboiler, the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, and achieved good social and economic benefits. 4,000 yuan a laser, a year can generate revenue of more than 100,000 yuan. Secondly, we find ways to improve the level of treatment. Establish regular check-ups and consultations with experts from Chaoyang Hospital and North Medical Center. Send the backbone to foreign hospitals for further training, training, vigorously advocate on-the-job self-learning, business level has improved significantly, the diagnosis and treatment of many difficult patients, such as pulmonary nodular disease, acute intermittent hepatic hemoptysis, hereditary spherocytosis, etc.. He has also welcomed many repeat patients, not only from the surrounding areas, but also from Luoyang, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Northeast China and Zhangjiakou. The patient, Wang Yi cotton, had a relative who was a leader of the municipal health bureau and refused to go to Xuanwu Hospital even though he had been contacted. In 2001, the writer Zhu Qi was hospitalized for the second time and was so impressed that he interviewed most of the hospitalized patients and made some home visits, and wrote a report on my story, “A Man Who Sowed Hope for Life”. I wrote a report on my deeds, “A man who sows hope for life”, and collected it in the book Life without Regret. Third, scientific management to mobilize motivation, in addition to the strict implementation of the municipal health bureau and the hospital system, we also have another reward and punishment regulations, such as the successful rescue of critically ill patients, prevention of medical accidents, for the department, the hospital to win honors, published academic papers, etc. are certain rewards, but on the contrary, part of the bonus will be deducted. Bonus is related to the personal interests of the staff, but also a sensitive factor affecting the unity, as the department head and higher titles, relatively high wages, while young doctors and nurses, hard work, low income, more difficulties, and therefore we have a long-term implementation of the per capita award, even if the hospital leadership stressed that by the coefficient of pull, the gap is not too big, but to the front line, to mobilize everyone’s enthusiasm. Fourth, actively participate in international scientific research, for the country’s glory, to add color to the aviation. 1989 to date, I have led Zheng Zhirong, Zhang Jinhu, Wang Zhixing and others to participate in four large international projects, only our hospital is a secondary hospital, the rest are large provincial and municipal hospitals. Under the care of the hospital leadership and with the strong support of our sister departments, we are not afraid of difficulties, regardless of wind and rain, cold weather and distant roads, from Xiangshan in the west to Tongzhou in the east, for more than 20 years, more than 500 times insisted on regular follow-up visits, quality and quantity, high standards and strict requirements, and won praise from relevant departments at home and abroad. It has expanded the influence and increased the popularity. II. Be a doctor Love and dedication to strive to be a famous doctor It is often said that; a soldier who does not want to be a general is not a good soldier, and it can also be said that a doctor who does not want to be a famous doctor is not a good doctor. Some people summarize the quality requirements of a good doctor as ‘”politician’s acumen, artist’s talent, athlete’s physique”. In my opinion, to be a good doctor is first of all to have a good mind and a high medical level, in addition, a good spirit of collaboration, a high level of foreign languages, a willingness to study and write academic papers, and, of course, a good body, not ambitious and lying in bed. Good thinking, is to firmly establish the patient first, treating patients like family. Think what the patient thinks, anxious about the patient’s urgency, help the patient’s needs. During my training at Chaoyang Hospital, I admitted a patient with heart attack who was constipated, had difficulty defecating, was irritable, and was sweating. In 1993, an old man was admitted to the hospital in the sub-north area due to massive cerebral infarction and coma, combined with lung infection, bronchial sputum embolism and respiratory failure, while our hospital had neither bronchoscope nor ventilator, I contacted Anzhen Hospital several times and personally sent the patient to transfer to the hospital, the family was very grateful and sent a red packet of 10,000 yuan, but they refused to accept it, so they passed it to the Party Office. I deeply appreciate that the doctor’s time is arranged by the patient, no matter what time, no matter what they were doing at the time, as long as the patient needs, I am basically on call for decades, often not called also to. 1987 autumn, the miner Hu was admitted to the hospital due to heart attack, then combined with arrhythmia and heart failure, the condition of many times repeated, the patient and family members are losing confidence, want to give up treatment. I went to the ward every night to persuade, encourage, and promptly deal with changes in condition, and was discharged after a month of improvement, and the family wrote to Beijing People’s Radio for praise. In the winter of 1987, Zhuang in Luoyang was diagnosed with liver metastasis of gallbladder cancer by MRI in several local hospitals due to pain in the right upper abdomen, fever and loss of weight for half a month, and held a ray of hope. He came to Beijing for treatment. I examined and inquired, and learned that he had similar manifestations in the past and improved after using gentamicin, and the difference in bilateral axillary temperature was not significant, which did not support malignancy. Ultrasound was checked the same morning to confirm. Later, in our hospital surgery, the gallbladder wall was 1.3 cm thick and two stones were located at the neck and bottom of the gallbladder. A young woman with headache and vomiting was admitted to a large hospital for training and a lumbar puncture in the emergency room showed bloody cerebrospinal fluid. She was admitted as subarachnoid hemorrhage. I examined the patient and found blood in the nasal cavity and ear canal, suspected a skull base fracture, and then a hematoma in the head, which was later confirmed by X-ray. In less than 3 hours, the patient was transferred from neurological to extra-neurological and the diagnosis was denied to the director by the trainee doctor, which became a good story for a while. Regarding the writing of academic papers, I will talk about a little experience, to be a mindful person, to be good at observation, good at accumulating information. I spent one month of my spare time to collect and organize the data, and co-authored with Dr. Wang “Analysis of 1012 cases of emergency room deaths”, which was published in a British journal in 1986, the only article published abroad when the hospital was promoted to the third grade. III. The medical care alarm bells ringing to prevent accidents Medical care is no small matter, the medical industry is extremely risky, medical behavior, as Professor Zhang Xiaoqian said; like walking on thin ice, like facing the abyss;. For decades my practice and experience is; night shift not to fall asleep, leisure time ward to see, new and old seriously see, difficult disease often think, serious illnesses to treat, learning medical skills high. In the autumn of 1999, one morning, I went to the ward and saw a patient with shortness of breath and restlessness, and when I looked closer, the fluid had gone. The patient was suffering from intercerebral syndrome and hypertensive encephalopathy, and was treated with pressurized dehydration. The nurse forgot to make timely rounds, and I immediately proceeded to treatment. The new and old look carefully, that is, treat each patient seriously, and the retired retired is also the same. in May 2009, a middle-aged male, due to right upper chest pain, breath-holding, in a large hospital according to the coronary heart disease treatment for a month ineffective to consult. I examined and analyzed that the nature and location of the pain did not support coronary heart disease, and that middle-aged people should be alert for tumors, and then the examination showed a right upper mediastinal tumor. I always think about difficult diseases, that is, when I encounter difficult patients, I always have trouble eating and sleeping, and keep looking for information, or discussing with colleagues, or asking for consultation from outside hospitals, until the diagnosis is clear and the treatment is effective. Serious illnesses are treated with full strength, that is, patients with serious illnesses must be treated with full strength, do not give up easily. In 2002, at noon on a Saturday, I heard that a patient with DDV who was about to be discharged from the hospital suddenly went into respiratory arrest, and Dr. Qiu on duty immediately gave mouth-to-mouth breathing.
I rushed to the ward to organize resuscitation and use a ventilator, and asked Chaoyang Hospital for an emergency consultation and diagnosed it as intermediate syndrome, which they encountered in two cases, only one of which was successfully resuscitated. I went home at 12 o’clock that day.
I rushed back to the ward at 3 am. It was the most stressful time since I started my medical career, such as unsuccessful resuscitation, the patient is young, the price is very high; close to the hospital, the family can come to the hospital at any time. Therefore, determined to play a hard fights, the whole department is not allowed to take leave, change rest, all-out efforts, only success, not failure. After 9 days and 9 nights of hard work and careful care, he was finally discharged from the hospital. One winter night, I heard that a patient about to be discharged from the cerebral infarction suddenly vomited, coma, I rushed to the ward to check and found that the blood pressure was very high, pupils are not equal to large, immediately according to the brain hemorrhage, brain hernia treatment, and notify the family to the hospital, she witnessed our efforts to rescue overnight, despite the ineffective, uncomfortable mood, but there is no complaint, and comforted us that; you have done your best. In the spring of 2003, when SARS was raging, the ward was disinfected with ultraviolet light every day. Once, the nurse forgot to let a patient who was receiving an infusion cover both eyes with paper. 2 days after the patient was discharged from the hospital, he complained of discomfort and redness in his left eye, and his family thought it was medical malpractice and came to make a fuss for several days, demanding compensation. I said; if it is caused by ultraviolet light, it should be the onset of both eyes. During the conversation, I learned that the patient often had dry mouth, dry eyes and dry nose in the past year, and suspected the diagnosis of dry syndrome, and asked them to go to the Union Hospital to confirm the diagnosis. Later, they were informed that this was exactly the case, and they stopped coming. Finally, talk about learning medical high, as the saying goes, frugality can nurture integrity, diligence can make up for clumsiness. Only through continuous learning can we grow our talents and adapt to the changing environment and the rapid development of science. Improve technology, in addition to further training, training, for serving staff, mainly self-study, read books, Internet research, attend academic lectures, case discussions. For decades, I read books almost every day, and go to the bookstore when I go to town, and often buy books such as monitoring and diagnosis. People need to have a little spirit, the ideal is the spiritual pillar of life, the driving force to move forward. The consciousness and persistence of learning comes from high standards and strict requirements, from the spirit of enterprise and career, from the fierce market competition. In this way, we can be proactive, persistent, never complacent, and strive for excellence. Young colleagues, I envy you to catch up with the good times, both the country and the hospital are in the best period of historical development. Now the hospital conditions do not know how many times better than before, I believe that you will certainly exceed us, in fact, many comrades here outstanding performance, worth learning from themselves. Let’s work together to make the hospital better and better, the aviation department better and better, and the country better and better.
