Bedwetting caused by drinking alcohol is usually not a sign of disease and is mostly a normal physiological reaction, but it needs to be judged in relation to the amount of alcohol consumed and whether or not the child is intoxicated.
If a small amount of alcohol is consumed without intoxication and bedwetting still occurs, it may be a pathological manifestation, such as prostatitis or nephritis, where the stimulation of alcohol causes the disease to worsen, thus causing bedwetting.
If the patient is bedwetting in a state of intoxication, then it is a normal physiological phenomenon, as being in a state of intoxication can cause diminished nervous system function, resulting in drowsiness and thus bedwetting.
