Neiguan Point: Located in the anterior region of the forearm, 2 inches above the transverse stripe on the distal part of the palm side of the wrist, between the tendon of the palmaris longus and the tendon of the radial flexor carpi radialis. It belongs to the Pericardium Meridian of the Syncopal Concentration of the Hand and has the effects of tranquilizing the heart and tranquillizing the mind, harmonizing the stomach and lowering the rebelliousness of the stomach (regulating the stomach qi and making the upwardly rebellious qi to descend), broadening the chest and regulating the qi, and calming the mind and relieving pain.
Middle Epigastric Point: Located 4 inches above the umbilicus in the middle of the umbilicus, on the anterior midline, belonging to the Ren Vessel, it has the efficacy of strengthening the spleen and the stomach, eliminating food and neutralizing the middle, and it can be used to treat stomach pain, natriuresis (lack of appetite, reduced food intake) and other diseases of the spleen and the stomach.
