The pathologic type of lung adenocarcinoma does not usually change. Lung adenocarcinoma is a non-small cell carcinoma . The more common types of lung adenocarcinoma can be subdivided into adenocarcinoma in situ, minimally invasive adenocarcinoma and invasive adenocarcinoma subtypes. 1. Adenocarcinoma in situ: adenocarcinoma in situ usually refers to the presence of small focal nodules in the lungs, usually less than or equal to three centimeters in diameter, or simple adenocarcinomas with adherent growth. Most of the adenocarcinoma in situ are non-mucinous type and a few are mucinous type. 2. Microinvasive adenocarcinoma: Microinvasive adenocarcinoma is an isolated adenocarcinoma with tumor diameter less than or equal to three centimeters, and the maximum diameter of infiltration will not exceed five centimeters. Microinvasive adenocarcinoma usually has no invasion of pleura, bronchus and vasculature, and there is no tumor necrosis and respiratory tract dissemination. 3. Subtypes of invasive adenocarcinoma: There are many subtypes of invasive adenocarcinoma, including papillary type, vesicular type and so on, and many subtypes may exist at the same time. In daily life, it is recommended to attend regular medical checkups, and if abnormal lesions are found in the lungs, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time.
