It takes about 6 weeks for the uterus to fully recover to its original size after normal delivery, and the specific recovery situation and recovery time varies from person to person. In order to promote the postpartum recovery of the uterus, the mother can carry out dietary conditioning, balanced diet, to ensure adequate nutrition, but also appropriate aerobic exercise, to speed up the maternal whole body metabolism, as well as the uterus recovery and pelvic floor muscle, pelvic recovery. It is recommended that the mother pay attention to keeping warm during the menstrual period, not to get cold, not to be exposed to wind, and eat more protein and vitamin-rich food to promote physical recovery. If the mother is breastfeeding she also needs to eat more soup-based foods.
