When a chicken bone is stuck in the throat, the patient should fast and abstain from food and water, go to the Pentacenter and ask a professional doctor to determine the location of the chicken bone. If the bone is visible in the throat and can be removed directly, it should be removed with specialized tools. If the bone is not visible in the throat, further tests, such as radiographs or CT, may be needed to determine the exact location of the bone. If the chicken bone has entered the esophagus, a gastroenterologist may be needed to perform a gastroscopy to remove the bone.
