A hysteroscopy usually takes 10 to 20 minutes and may take 30 to 60 minutes for treatments and other procedures.
A simple hysteroscopy, which involves entering the uterine cavity through the uterine opening with a fiberoptic speculum and observing the changes in the morphology of the endocervix, the uterine cavity and the opening of the fallopian tubes for lesions, is usually completed in 10 to 20 minutes. Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive examination, the mirror body is relatively thin, the damage to the human body is relatively small, and there is usually no special feeling.
If a woman finds endometrial polyps, uterine adhesions, submucosal fibroids and other diseases during the examination, they need to be removed under hysteroscopy, which will also take relatively longer, usually 30 to 60 minutes.
