Varicose Veins in Hands

Varicose veins of the hand are commonly known as varicose veins of the back of the hand and varicose veins of the palm of the hand, of which varicose veins of the back of the hand are more common, but the overall incidence of varicose veins of the hand is relatively rare. Generally, because of the weakness of the hand tissue and the shallow subcutaneous skin, if the veins of the hand have poor reflux, they tend to become visible and slowly develop into tortuous and dilated veins. In general, the mere appearance of veins is a normal physiological phenomenon and should not be taken as a pathological varicose vein. If the patient has some deep vein reflux disorder, such as deep vein thrombosis and embolism, which leads to superficial vein tortuosity and dilatation, and lateral circulation is established, then the diagnosis and treatment of pathological varicose veins should be carried out, and the vascular surgery of regular hospital is needed to open the deep veins, promote the venous reflux, and relieve varicose veins to avoid serious adverse consequences.
