Low progesterone hcg doubling is not good

A doubling of HCG indicates good embryonic activity. If the patient has no lower abdominal cramping discomfort, no vaginal bleeding, and no previous history of adverse pregnancy or delivery, the guidelines recommend not to routinely test progesterone. HCG is a special hormone secreted by the body after pregnancy, and the level of HCG in the blood reflects the activity of the embryo. However, the final determination of intrauterine pregnancy and whether the embryo is developing normally depends on the ultrasound examination of the obstetrics and gynecology department, so regular ultrasound monitoring is needed after pregnancy.
