How to Treat Patchy Dense Shadows Lung Cancer

Patchy high-density shadow lung cancer can be treated with anti-infection first and then anti-tumor treatment. When patients with bronchial lung cancer undergo imaging examination, patchy hyperdense shadow can be found, which mostly suggests that there may be secondary infection of bronchial lung cancer or formation of obstructive pneumonia. If the presence of infection is considered, anti-infection treatment can be carried out first. After infection treatment, surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be chosen according to the pathological stage and patient’s condition. Surgery is mainly suitable for early stage I-II lung cancer, stage IIIA lung cancer and partially selective stage IIIB lung cancer whose tumor is confined to one side of the chest cavity. Chemotherapy is surely effective for small cell lung cancer, no matter in early or advanced stage. Radiotherapy has the best efficacy for small cell lung cancer, while squamous and adenocarcinoma are relatively poor. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals as early as possible to receive standardized treatment.
