How can I safely use medication while breastfeeding?

I. Not suitable for breastfeeding: AIDS, tuberculosis patients; drug or alcohol addicts; mothers undergoing radiotherapy; mothers taking oral bromocriptine to reduce milk. The following drugs are prohibited: antiviral drugs such as ribavirin; tetracyclines, including tetracycline and doxycycline; estrogen-containing drugs, including birth control pills; aminopyrin-containing drugs, including anandamide and painkillers. The recommended safe use of drugs during breastfeeding: acetaminophen and ibuprofen can be used for fever over 38 degrees; acetaminophen can be used for sore throat; penicillin and cephalosporins are usually used for mastitis, but attention should be paid to whether the baby has diarrhea. Anti-allergic and eye drops are usually not affected. Allergies can be treated with oral loratadine or topical glyburide.
