Can children get stomach cancer?

The likelihood of stomach cancer in children is very low and can be considered a clinical case report. According to exceptional case reports around the world, there have been reports of children as young as six and eight years old being found to have stomach cancer, and a definite diagnosis has been made. Stomach cancer itself is a chronic disease, which occurs when long-term stimulation of the stomach, such as inflammation, ulcers and infection, is combined with the patient’s own factors. If stomach cancer develops during childhood, the patient may have genes in his body that predispose him to stomach cancer, as stomach cancer is also related to gene mutation. If he/she has a family history of stomach cancer and there is a gene related to susceptibility to stomach cancer in his/her body, and the gene is easy to mutate, he/she may get stomach cancer, but this is very rare. If a child has stomach pain, it may be due to inflammation of the stomach, H. pylori infection, etc., which can be treated with medication. If the stomach pain does not improve after regular treatment, gastroscopy can also be considered.
