Difference between ferritin and hemoglobin

Ferritin and hemoglobin are two different proteins and their differences: hemoglobin is found in red blood cells and is composed of pearlin and heme, of which pearlin has four pearlin peptide chains and heme has porphyrin rings and iron ions. Ferritin is composed of desmosin and trivalent iron ions, and ferritin is the storage form of iron in the body. Also, ferritin is an acute inflammatory temporal response protein, and when the body has acute inflammation, the amount of ferritin increases. Therefore, the main role of ferritin is to maintain the balance of iron in the body by regularly releasing iron into the peripheral blood and promoting hemoglobin production by red blood cells. Hemoglobin is a protein formed by red blood cells using iron, and its main role is to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide, playing an important role in the normal metabolism of the body.
