Can salt water be disinfected?

Salt water is not disinfectant. Human body fluids contain a large amount of sodium chloride, or salt. When the concentration of salt water reaches a certain level, it can inhibit bacteria and viruses, but it does not disinfect. The 7th edition of the national program for the diagnosis and treatment of the new coronavirus clearly states that chlorinated disinfectants should be used for disinfection of articles and air, and the commonly used chlorinated disinfectants include 84 disinfectant, ether and chloroform. Therefore, salt water should not be used for disinfection, as it will not work and will increase the financial burden.
