You do not need to be tested for hepatitis B to get a health license. Hepatitis B is a blood-borne disease and is not contagious in daily work, living or eating together. The physical examination for the health certificate will not check whether you are infected with hepatitis B, but only check your liver function. Therefore, as long as the liver function is normal and there is no hepatitis activity, people infected with hepatitis B are also able to apply for a health license. Since the health certificate needs to check the liver function of alanine aminotransferase and glutamine aminotransferase, so before applying for the health certificate, you should avoid some behaviors that may cause the aminotransferase to rise. For example, avoid staying up late, drinking alcohol, avoiding strenuous exercise, and maintaining a light diet for a few days before the medical checkup. If abnormal liver function is found during the medical examination for health certificate, further examination is needed to clarify whether treatment is needed.
