Can the hands and feet recover from brain hemorrhage?

Patients with cerebral hemorrhage disease resulting in functional activities of the arms and legs are affected, whether they can recover to normal depends mainly on the site of bleeding, the amount of bleeding, and also the treatment and other conditions are closely related, a small amount of bleeding can be restored to a certain extent, while a larger amount of bleeding will have various effects, specifically as follows.
1.Little bleeding: If the bleeding is small and the bleeding site is not serious, after active treatment, the patient may recover to a certain level, or even to a normal level.
2.Large amount of bleeding: If the bleeding is large and in a critical area, such as the internal capsule, it will lead to hemiplegia, numbness of the limbs, or even impaired consciousness, coma and so on.
So it depends on the severity of the disease and the treatment whether the patient’s hands and feet can be restored to normal. If there are still sequelae problems left in the later stage, systematic rehabilitation in the rehabilitation department and functional training will help patients to partially recover their functions as well as reach the standard of being able to live a normal level.
