Watermelon usually has little effect on amniotic fluid. Watermelon is edible and contains about 93% water, so it can be used as a source of hydration. Amniotic fluid is the fluid in the amniotic cavity, and the main sources of amniotic fluid are maternal serum entering the amniotic cavity and fetal urine, so watermelon cannot be a source of amniotic fluid or have an effect on it. The production and absorption of amniotic fluid in the amniotic cavity is in dynamic balance, if the production and absorption are out of balance, there will be too much amniotic fluid, or too little. If the amniotic fluid exceeds 2000ml, it is called excessive amniotic fluid, and less than 30ml belongs to too little amniotic fluid. Excessive or too little amniotic fluid may cause harm to the pregnant woman and the fetus, and abnormal amniotic fluid should be treated in time at the hospital.
