Women who have uterine atrophy, if it is menopause or old age gradual uterine atrophy, generally will not have obvious feeling, if it is the reproductive age women ovarian premature failure caused by uterine atrophy, there will be more obvious symptoms, such as infertility, amenorrhea, hot flashes, irritability, and sleep disorders, neurasthenia, osteoporosis, vaginal dryness, frequency of urination, urinary urgency, and so on.
1. When a woman reaches menopause, due to the decline in estrogen levels, the uterus begins to shrink without her realizing it, which is a physiological condition and usually has no symptoms.
2. If uterine atrophy occurs before the age of 40 in women of childbearing age, it is generally pathologic atrophy, caused by premature ovarian failure. As atrophy occurs slowly, patients usually do not have obvious feelings. As the ovaries fail and the uterus continues to atrophy, patients may experience infertility, decreased menstrual flow, delayed menstruation, amenorrhea, and other symptoms.
Patients with premature ovarian failure may also have more pronounced menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, impatience, irritability, and symptoms related to sleep disorders, neurasthenia, depression, osteoporosis, vaginal dryness, frequent urination, and urinary urgency.
Women of childbearing age should attend regular gynecological examinations to detect uterine atrophy as early as possible in order to take timely and effective measures.
