Nasal pain, which is a symptom, can be caused by the following reasons, the main ones are: 1, pain in the skin of the front of the nasal cavity, mostly due to inflammatory lesions in the nasal vestibule, such as nasal boils, and may be accompanied by local skin redness or pus bulges, etc.; 2, ulcers and erosions in the front area of the nasal septum, patients can be accompanied by nasal crust blockage or dryness of the nasal mucosa, which is more likely to bleed 3, acute rhinitis, dry rhinitis and nasal pain manifested by atrophic rhinitis. These three kinds of rhinitis have dry nasal pain, but acute rhinitis can be accompanied by a burning sensation, soreness, and the patient has watery edema of the nasal mucosa. Dry rhinitis presents as a dark redness of the mucous membranes, and there can be bleeding spots. Atrophic rhinitis is characterized by dryness of the nasal mucosa and atrophy of the inferior turbinate. 4. Pain caused by tumor is mostly a manifestation of advanced stage of tumor, which can be caused by tumor pressure on local bone of nasal cavity, or tumor local rupture and bleeding causing pain, or tumor pressure on trigeminal nerve causing pain.
