For those with limited tumor in the nasal cavity, simple radiation therapy can be performed, and the 5-year survival rate can reach more than 70%. For those with more extensive tumor infiltration, a combination of radical resection, plus preoperative or postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy is chosen. Surgery generally advocates nasal lateral dissection because the field of view is wider and tumors involving the maxillary and septal sinuses can be removed at the same time. Generally, the 5-year survival can reach about 40% by surgical resection with postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. For smaller tumors, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of the sinus can also be used, which is less invasive. The prognosis depends on the size of the tumor, the type of pathology, and the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis.
