What’s a minor flashback?

A minor flashback is a mild acute lumbar sprain, an acute injury to the soft tissues of the lower back. There are two main causes of minor back flashes. One may be due to injury to the lumbar spinal tissues as a result of the weight of the body exceeding the limits of the maximum range that the spine can bear. The lower back can also be sprained if an overweight object is lifted violently in an emergency or if a sudden loss of balance occurs while carrying weight. Another situation is when some action is taken suddenly when one is not prepared for the activity. For example, when moving something, the object takes on an expected weight or rotates acutely. Because of the lack of preparation, the muscles do not contract sufficiently, resulting in a lower back sprain. In order to prevent lumbar sprains, the strength and stretching exercises of the lumbar and abdominal muscles should be strengthened in daily life. In case of injury, it is recommended to consult a doctor and follow the medical advice.
