Calcium tablets (such as calcium carbonate tablets) are indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency and as a calcium supplement for children, pregnant women and other groups. Contraindications to use include hypercalcemia/uria, calcium-containing kidney stones, or a history of kidney stones. Adverse drug reactions include belching and constipation.
