Colds and flu in women with poor physique are mostly caused by deficiency of qi, yin and yang, and can be treated with ginseng-su drink, Weiweiwei Tang (加减葳蕤汤), and Zaizaosan (再造散).
Ginseng, Perilla frutescens, Poria, Citrus aurantium, Platycodon grandiflorus, Mucuna pruriens, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Semixia, Radix et Rhizoma Pinelliae, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Glycyrrhiza glabra, has the effect of benefiting qi to relieve the surface of the body, regulating the body’s qi to resolve phlegm. It is effective in treating the deficiency of qi due to wind-cold infection with cold fever, no sweating, and headache with congestion in the nose and nose.
Weiwei Tang (加减葳蕤汤) is composed of Weiwei, scallion white, Platycodon grandiflorus, Bai Wei, tempeh, mint, licorice and jujube, which has the effect of nourishing yin and relieving epidemiology, and it can treat symptoms of yin deficiency due to external wind-heat, including headache, body heat, and a slight aversion to wind-cold.
Zaizaosan is composed of ginseng, cinnamon sticks, astragalus, licorice, epimedium, fine spices, rhizoma ligustici, qiangwu, antifungal, ginger and jujube, which is effective in nourishing yang and benefiting qi, dispersing cold and relieving symptoms of yang deficiency due to external wind-heat and can treat symptoms such as malignant cold, fever, absence of sweating, coldness of the limbs, lethargy, and drowsiness caused by external wind-heat.
