Can Targeted Drugs Be Used for Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is able to use targeted drugs, and commonly used targeted drugs include anti-angiogenic drugs and PARP inhibitors.
1. Anti-angiogenic drugs: patients with ovarian cancer can use anti-angiogenic drugs under the guidance of professional doctors, which can reduce the blood supply of tumor and avoid the metastatic spread of malignant cells.
2. PARP inhibitor: if ovarian cancer patients are found to be positive for BRCA1/BRCA2 mutation during genetic test, they can use PARP inhibitor under the guidance of professional doctors, and those whose genetic test results are positive for HRD can also use PARP inhibitor.
It should be noted that the condition of each ovarian cancer patient is different, so the suitable targeted drugs will also be different, and must strictly follow the doctor’s instructions.
