The Knee Yang Guan Acupuncture Point is an acupoint of the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian and is located 3 inches above Yang Ling Quan (located on the lateral side of the lower leg, in the anterior and inferior depression of the lesser head of the fibula), in the lateral superior depression of the lateral epicondyle of the femur. Knee Yang Guan acupoint can be used to treat lower limb and knee joint disorders such as knee and popliteal fossa swelling and pain, calf numbness and contracture.
