Is a 64-row the same as a cardiogram?

64-row and cardiography are not the same. 64-row is a type of enhanced CT examination, and cardiography is a minimally invasive interventional procedure in which a contrast agent is injected into the coronary arteries and then photographed to obtain an image of the coronary arteries.

1.64 row: refers to the CT examination, the CT angiography of the heart is called coronary CTA, is a kind of enhanced CT examination, means injecting the contrast agent from the patient’s upper limb vein, and then CT scanning the patient, the doctor then carries out vascular reconstruction and analysis of the scanning results, which is important for the coronary arteries to see whether there is stenosis, wall calcification, etc., but the diagnosis of the stenosis degree is not precise enough.

2. Cardiac angiography: It is an invasive test, in which a cardiac catheter is sent to the opening of the coronary artery through the femoral artery, flexor artery or brachial artery, injected with contrast medium, and photographed in different directions, so as to make the coronary arteries more clearly visible, which is more accurate and intuitive than the CT of coronary arteries.

Whether CTA or imaging is needed, please follow the advice of a professional doctor, who will give professional advice based on clinical symptoms and other auxiliary examination results.
