Compressing site: The compressing site is usually based on meridian points. For osteoarthritis, the commonly used acupuncture points are Dazhi, Kidney Yu, Hanging Bell, Guan Yuan and A-Yi points. The timing of compressing: Generally, the first day of the first, middle and last days of the three volt days of the lunar calendar is chosen for compressing treatment, and a total of three times. If the middle volcano is 20 days, you can add a patch at an interval of 10 days. Other times during the three volt days can also be compressed, but each compress should be applied at an interval of 7-10 days, and 3 times a year is appropriate. The duration of each application is 2-6 hours for adults and 0.5-2 hours for children. The length of the compressing time should be determined according to the patient’s skin reaction, while taking into account the individual’s constitution and tolerance ability, generally to the extent that the patient can tolerate. If there is obvious discomfort at the patching area after the patching, it should be removed in time. Generally, 3 years is a course of treatment.
