Corrected visual acuity is the best visual acuity that a patient with refractive error can achieve with glasses. If the vision result is checked without any glasses, it is called naked eye vision. If you find that you do not have 1.0, you must go to the hospital for a routine medical optometry. If you have myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism, which are diagnosed as refractive errors, you can usually wear glasses to achieve 1.0 corrected vision. Adults can undergo laser surgery to correct their vision, but if you find that you can’t correct your vision to 1.0 or higher after wearing glasses, you must further examine the cause, such as keratitis, cataract, glaucoma or fundus disease, and so on, and you need to identify the cause and deal with it in a timely manner.
