Alisatanate is generally suitable for elderly people with high hypertension. Alisatanate tablets are an antihypertensive drug for patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension. Current clinical studies have not confirmed that the elderly respond differently to this drug than younger people; therefore, there is no need to adjust the dosage for age in elderly patients. If the patient is accompanied by severe hepatic, renal and cardiac hypoplasia, careful observation should be made during the administration of the drug and the dosage may be reduced as appropriate. The adverse reactions of the drug are generally mild and can be relieved by themselves. Common adverse reactions mainly include headache, dizziness, elevated blood lipids, elevated transaminases, hypercholesterolemia and so on. Allergic to the drug, pregnant and lactating women are prohibited. It is recommended that the elderly follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the use of drugs, such as the use of drugs after the emergence of serious symptoms, timely consultation and treatment.
