Ultrasound examination of the ureteral bladder of both kidneys requires urine holding, but it does not need to be performed in the fasting state. In the state of urine holding, ultrasound can distinguish the morphology of the bladder, the morphology of the kidneys and the morphology of the ureter more easily. However, sometimes when intestinal distention is more obvious, the morphology of the middle part of the ureter is not easily shown, and then the patient may need to wait for intestinal evacuation or defecation before performing ureteral ultrasound. If in the state of holding urine badly, then the bladder is in a collapsed state, and it is not clear whether there are relevant lesions in the bladder, so the patient needs to don’t have some urine, and then perform ultrasound examination, then the morphology of the bladder can be seen very clearly and determine whether there are relevant lesions in the bladder. The kidneys are in a good state when the urine is held, or when the urine is not held, and the gas from the intestines interferes relatively little with the kidney visualization, but the ribs have some influence on the kidney visualization.
