The signs before death are mainly the following: First, the patient shows signs of fecal and urinary incontinence. This is mainly due to the extreme lack of energy in the body, resulting in complete relaxation of the anal canal and urethral sphincter, and metabolic wastes such as urine and feces can then be excreted on their own. Second, the extremities are obviously swollen. In the extremities of patients, capillary permeability increases. The water and fluid in the blood vessels infiltrate into the tissue interstices of the extremities and cause obvious swelling, and some patients may even be accompanied by tension blisters. Third, patients appear sigh-like breathing. Patients can take in more oxygen through sigh-like breathing to try to meet the body’s oxygen demand and improve the state of oxygen deficiency. Fourth, the patient appears to be continuously drowsy. This is mainly due to the inability to take in enough energy, so that the brain is completely in a state of oxygen deprivation, and the consumption of oxygen and energy is reduced through lethargy.
