A 48-year-old woman’s incessant urge to urinate is a symptom of frequent urination, which may be related to physiological or pathological factors such as urinary tract infections. Frequent urination is divided into physiological frequency and pathological frequency. Under normal diet and water intake, the number of urination is about 6 to 8 times in 24h, and nocturia is 0 to 1 time. Physiologic urinary frequency is mainly caused by drinking too much water, lower temperatures, reduced sweating, and excessive mental stress. Most of the frequent urination is related to pathologic diseases, commonly caused mainly by urinary tract infections, others also include overactive bladder syndrome, urinary stones and diabetes mellitus and other etiological causes. It is recommended to pay attention to personal cleanliness and hygiene in normal life, change underwear diligently, drink more water, flush the bacteria in the urinary system to avoid urinary tract infections. If the patient is not feeling well, he should consult the doctor for examination and early treatment.
