The optometric findings of 4.7 visual acuity in the left eye and 5.0 visual acuity in the right eye are abnormal; under normal circumstances, visual acuity in both eyes should be 5.0 and above. Normal vision should be 5.0 and above in both eyes. The naked vision or corrected vision of only 4.7 in the left eye is abnormal, and it is necessary to improve the pupil dilation, optometry, slit lamp and other auxiliary examinations. In children, there may be interference from accommodation factors, and normal orthopia may be restored after pupil dilation. The specific causes of 4.7 vision in the left eye and 5.0 vision in the right eye vary. In children and adolescents, it may be refractive errors such as astigmatism, myopia, or amblyopia, and in middle-aged and elderly people, it may be cataracts, glaucoma, or retinal detachment, and other pathologic conditions. It is recommended to improve the examination in time if the naked eye or corrected visual acuity is low in one or both eyes, and to correct and treat it in time as well as to review it regularly.
