What’s going on? My mouth swelled up after a nap.

Swelling of the mouth after sleeping is usually associated with trauma, angioneurotic edema, papular urticaria and other factors.
1. Trauma: For example, if a trauma occurs before going to bed at night, edema of the lips may occur after waking up in the morning of the second day, accompanied by obvious pain.
2. Angioneurotic edema: If you are allergic to a certain food, or due to allergy to a certain drug or dust allergy, it may cause angioneurotic edema after waking up on the 2nd day.
3. Pemphigus urticaria: For example, an acute pemphigus urticaria caused by insect bites at night can lead to swollen lips and swollen skin all over the body.
If the lips are only slightly edematous, the symptoms are not obvious, and can disappear in a short period of time, the general impact is not significant; however, if the edema is more serious and lasts for a longer period of time, it should be promptly consulted.
