Candesartan Disadvantages

The disadvantages of Candesartan are possible adverse effects such as angioedema, syncope and hyperkalemia after taking the drug. Candesartan refers to candesartan ester tablets, which belongs to angiotensin II receptor antagonist and can reduce peripheral vascular resistance. Candesartan ester has a more stable and long-lasting antihypertensive effect, and is clinically recognized as a first-line drug for the treatment of hypertension. However, candesartan ester tablets have some post-dose adverse reactions. Such as angioedema, hyperkalemia, liver function abnormalities, granulocyte deficiency, acute renal failure, shock, syncope and other side effects may occur after administration. The drug is contraindicated in women who are pregnant or suspected to be pregnant, those who are allergic to the components of the drug and those with severe hepatic or renal insufficiency or cholestasis. Candesartan ester tablets need to be used under the guidance of a professional doctor.
