For normal people, supine position or side lying position is good for the heart. For patients with cardiovascular disease, different sleeping positions should be adopted according to different conditions.
1. Normal people: for normal people, the sleeping position is not a great influence on the heart, you can take the supine position or side lying position, but do not recommend using the prone position, because it is not conducive to smooth breathing.
2. cardiovascular disease patients: if the heart is compensated for the increase in patients, such as suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, hypertensive heart disease, etc., the heart itself will oppress the left lung, at this time you should take the right side of the lying position, you can reduce the oppression of the left lung.
3. If the patient has heart failure and pleural effusion, it is recommended to take the side lying position. If there is effusion in the right pleural cavity, the right lateral position can be adopted to ensure the opening of the left lung, which can increase the blood oxygen saturation.
4. Some patients should pay attention to the posture when lying on the side, and it is recommended that the upper body should be elevated by about 30° when lying on the back, so that the pressure of pleural effusion on the heart can be alleviated, and the volume of return blood can be reduced, which is conducive to the health of the heart.
It is recommended to consult a cardiovascular physician and choose the appropriate way under the guidance of the doctor.
