Albuterol Sulfate Aerosol is not for long-term use.
It is used clinically to relieve bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease airway spasm and prevent exercise asthma, mainly for short-term treatment. Long-term use will have toxic effects and dependence into, drug resistance.
1. Toxicity: long-term use can be persistent headache and dizziness, nausea and vomiting, irritability and anxiety, chest tightness and chest pain, panic and shortness of breath and other toxic reactions.
