Hormone 6 test on the first day of menstruation

In women with normal menstrual cycle, it is better to have blood test for hormone 6 on the 3rd-5th day of menstruation, while amenorrhea, irregular menstruation and urgent patients can be examined at any time. The 3-5 days after menstruation are in the early follicular phase, when estrogen levels are high and can reflect the basic functional state of the ovaries, which is relatively accurate. In addition, the hormone levels vary from one menstrual cycle to another, and the standard values of the six hormone tests are also different. Before the test, you should inform your doctor which menstrual cycle you are in, so that the doctor can understand whether there are abnormalities in the endocrine function of the patient based on the test results, and then make a clear diagnosis and treat accordingly. Do not take any hormonal drugs for 1 month before the test. Avoid strenuous exercise 10 minutes before the blood draw to avoid prolactin increase. Do not stay up late before the test, try to avoid intercourse, keep a happy mood, maintain a relaxed state and ensure sufficient sleep.
