Scabies is caused by the scabies mite that infects human skin. The scabies mite lives in the human skin and causes a series of papular and pimple reactions. If allergic to it, it can produce generalized eczema. The patient may also develop demodectic eczema and contact dermatitis due to excessive washing after the disease. Due to the intense itching, it has a significant impact on a person’s work and life. The disease is transmitted through direct contact. It can also be transmitted indirectly by the clothes, bed, towels, etc. used by the patient. The symptoms of scabies are intense itching, especially at night. There are red papules, blisters, pustules and tunnels in the finger crevices, wrist flexures, axillae, umbilicus and small abdomen of corn size. Male patients may have pruritic red nodules of green bean to peanut rice size on the pubic area, called scabies nodules, which are characteristic. Since the modern standard of living has improved, bathing conditions and medical conditions have improved, so most of the current scabies is not typical in performance due to bathing and treatment. It is often seen that scabies patients are diagnosed as “eczema” for a long time, and the effect of treatment is certainly not good, and it is worth noting that it is getting heavier.
