What is a nasopharyngeal nerve block

Rhinitis nerve block is a treatment for allergic rhinitis. It is a surgical treatment for symptoms associated with increased sensitivity of the nasal nerve mucosa, usually under endoscopic visualization, and selectively cuts off the pre-sialylar nerve and the pterygoid canal nerve in order to reduce the excitability of the parasympathetic nerves of the nasal cavity, to improve the ventilation function of the nasal cavity, and to control the symptoms of allergy.
Pre-sialylation nerve block is performed through low temperature plasma technology, including pre-sialylation nerve block and pterygoid nerve block. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat allergic rhinitis.
For example, the ablation of pre-sialylation nerve block can usually be completed in about 20 minutes. Since this technology is based on the principle of low temperature ablation, which does not damage the healthy tissues of the nasal cavity and has no toxicity or side effects, it has a relatively high therapeutic effect on allergic rhinitis and a relatively low recurrence rate.
Allergic rhinitis patients with poor results of conservative treatment can go to a regular hospital and under the guidance of a doctor for selective nerve blocking to avoid side effects.
