In most cases, dialysis is not needed in stage II nephropathy, but patients may need dialysis treatment when they have other conditions, such as toxic poisoning, acute exacerbation of chronic kidney disease, acute heart failure and so on. 1. Poisoning: If the kidneys still have some excretory function but not enough to excrete out of the body in the case of poisoning by certain poisons, then the patients need dialysis treatment. 2. Acute exacerbation of chronic kidney disease: when acute exacerbation occurs on the basis of chronic disease, patients with stage II kidney disease need dialysis treatment to reduce the burden on the kidneys. 3. Acute heart failure: when patients with stage 2 kidney disease show acute heart failure, dialysis can be considered as symptomatic treatment to reduce the heart load. It is recommended that patients with stage 2 kidney disease should go to the hospital in time, and should choose the treatment plan under the doctor’s guidance to avoid delaying the condition.
