A thyroid strong light spot is usually an imaging depiction of the thyroid gland on ultrasound that suggests localized calcification of tissue in the thyroid gland. Thyroid macules may be benign or malignant. 1. Thyroid bright spots are seen in benign lesions, such as localized nodular hyperplasia and absence of tissue necrosis, when the mechanism is calcium deposition in the thyroid nodule due to malnutrition. 2. Intense light spots of the thyroid gland can also be seen in malignant lesions such as thyroid cancer. In diagnosis, the presence of thyroid cancer should be determined according to the pathologic examination of the macules, morphology, degree of lymphatic infiltration, and other comprehensive manifestations. Once found, thyroid hyperintense macules should be promptly consulted to find out the cause of the disease, so as to exclude thyroid cancer.
