The unclear structure of the cervical lymphatic hilum indicates that the structure of the cervical lymphatic hilum area cannot be seen under imaging, which may be either an infectious lesion or a neoplastic invasion.
1. Infectious lesions: under normal circumstances, lymph nodes are oval or fava bean shaped with a raised end and a sunken end, and the sunken area is the lymphatic hilum. If the local area is infected by bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, it will cause the lymphatic gate to appear structurally unclear under imaging.
2. Tumor invasion: If the lymphatic vessels in the neck are invaded by tumors, especially malignant tumors, the shape and structure of the tumors are not clear, which will lead to the unclear structure of the lymphatic vessels in the neck.
In addition to the above, there are other conditions that may lead to unclear structure of cervical lymphatic vessels, imaging examination can only be used as a high suspicion standard, it is recommended to go to the hospital for further examination, to clarify the cause of the disease, and then follow the doctor’s instructions to carry out timely and targeted treatment, so as to avoid delaying the course of the disease.
