Acne is generally referred to as acne, a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the sebaceous gland unit of the hair follicle, which can be solved by topical medication, oral medication, and physical therapy, etc. Enlarged pores can be improved with the help of skin care, medication, and physical therapy.
1. Acne:
(1) Topical medication: It can be treated with topical antibiotic medication such as topical adapalene gel, retinoic acid cream, azelaic acid, and fusidic acid cream.
(2) Oral drugs: inflammatory acne can be oral antibiotics such as doxycycline, minocycline, etc. Isotretinoin can inhibit sebaceous secretion of sebaceous glands, regulate follicular sebaceous gland duct keratinization, improve the anaerobic environment of the hair follicle, anti-inflammatory and prevent the formation of scarring and other effects.
(3) Physical therapy: photodynamic therapy (PDT) with topical 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) enriched in the follicular sebaceous gland units, plus red light for severe acne.
2. Enlarged pores:
(1) Skin care: Excessive oil clogging the pores will make the pores become more enlarged. Such patients should do a good job of facial cleaning and moisturizing, strict sunscreen, and avoid eating fried, high-fat foods, which will help reduce the secretion of facial oil.
(2) Medication: Topical exfoliators such as salicylic acid can be used, as well as topical retinoids such as adapalene or retinoic acid cream.
(3) Physical therapy: can be through CO2 fractional laser, photodynamic, micro-needling and other treatments.
