How to do vestibular rehab

Vestibular rehabilitation training mainly includes balance and gait training, adaptive training and so on. Balance and gait training is to practice standing to sitting with the patient’s eyes open, and then from sitting to standing, and then close the eyes after completion of the exercise, and then continue to cooperate with the turn and other movements, the whole process needs to accompany the patient, so as not to fall and cause injury. Adaptive training is to place the object in front of the patient’s nose, and then slowly turn the head from the left side to the front, look at the object for 25 seconds, and then turn the head to the right side, repeat more than 10 times, practicing 2 to 3 times a day. Vestibular function can also be trained by walking in a single step, where the patient walks both feet in a line, with the head to the left when stepping on the left foot, and to the right when stepping on the right foot. Vestibular rehabilitation training needs to be carried out under the guidance of a professional rehabilitator. If there is any discomfort, consult a doctor promptly.
