  Stomach cancer patients should eat scientifically and arrange their diet reasonably. Postoperative liquid diet for four to five days, semi-liquid diet for four to six weeks.  After two months, the general diet (soft food-based) will be started.  After postoperative exhaustion, start from giving full liquid diet and gradually transition to semi-liquid diet.  1.Fluid diet: it is very easy to digest, contains little residue, and becomes fluid or can be melted into liquid in the mouth. You can use various kinds of broth, colostrum, cream of wheat, thick rice soup, egg flower soup, yogurt, lotus root powder, vegetable juice, soy milk, tofu brain, mung bean soup, rice flour and so on. From light to thick, six times a day. Gradually increase from 50ml to 250ml.  2.Semi-liquid diet: It is between soft food and liquid diet, with a semi-liquid appearance, fine and soft, easier to chew and digest. It is a limited number of meals in the form of meals. Each 2-3 hours a meal, 5-6 meals per day.  3, the main food: rice porridge, millet porridge, hanging noodles, noodles (to “dragon beard noodles” is good, to make soup noodles to add crushed vegetable leaves), noodles, wontons (with a larger skin, smaller filling, more soup, such as: horny gourd lean pork filling), bread, cakes, cookies (children’s milk beans better, but absolutely no puffed food), small rolls, lotus root powder, etc..  4, side dishes: lean and tender pork, chicken, fish (sea fish / river fish is not limited to steamed / braised / stewed food is good), eggs, soy products, crushed tender vegetables and so on.  Note: The staple food should not exceed 300 grams throughout the day, and pay attention to variety to increase appetite.  Within one month after discharge from the hospital, eat a high-calorie, high-fiber diet with 2400 calories of energy. Later, the energy should be maintained at 2000 calories a day. Gradually transition from semi-liquid diet to diet. Protein accounts for 20% of total energy, of which high quality protein accounts for more than 1/3 (high quality protein is: cow’s milk, tofu, eggs, fish, lean meat): fat accounts for 15% – 20% of total energy, of which the ratio of saturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids is 1:1:1 (preferably with blended oil); carbohydrates account for 60% – 65% of total energy. Sticky, cold, hard food, barbecue, fried food, greasy food, steamed dumplings, lamb, etc.  4, eating note: 5-10 minutes of light activity before meals, to enhance appetite. Patients with bad teeth should use less food containing dietary fiber and animal muscle fiber, or eat after chopping and cooking, and pay attention to supplementing food such as vegetable juice and juice. Establish a regular eating schedule. Quit smoking and alcohol. Pay attention to the appropriate amount of nutritional supplements. Advocate long-term use of “B complex vitamins”; appropriate amount of iron supplements within 4 months after surgery (e.g. Fe2+ type “snow supplement” oral solution or compound gum? Oral solution, the purpose: to prevent iron deficiency anemia); appropriate amount of calcium supplements (such as: Calcium D, the purpose: to prevent osteoporosis).
