Mammography is a simple, reliable and non-invasive examination with the advantages of high resolution, good reproducibility, no restriction on age or body size, and retaining images for before and after comparison. Mammography requires four films to be taken, left and right side cephalo-caudal position and left and right side lateral oblique position, and it takes about 15 minutes to film, after which the patient is palpated and the film is read, and finally a diagnosis is made, and the whole process takes about one hour. The whole process takes about 1 hour. Therefore, without any special circumstances, it takes about 1 hour to get the result of the mammogram.
