What is intrahepatic cystic hypodensity shadow?

Intrahepatic cystic hypodensity shadow mainly refers to the imaging performance of liver lesions under CT, with hepatic cysts being more common. Liver cyst is a very common benign disease of the liver in clinical practice and has no great impact on normal health. If the liver cyst is less than 5 cm and there are no corresponding clinical symptoms, no special treatment is needed, and a yearly review of liver ultrasound is sufficient. If the cyst is larger than 5cm or with corresponding clinical symptoms, it needs surgery or ultrasound-guided liver cyst puncture and drainage. In case of multiple cysts in the liver, the condition may be considered as a congenital lesion, which can be observed regularly with periodic review of liver ultrasound and liver function.
