The estrogen level on day 3 of menstruation is 50 pg/mL. Days 2-4 of the menstrual cycle are the basal state of the ovaries, and the basal state of the ovaries has an estrogen level less than 50 pg/mL and no more than 80 pg/mL. If the estrogen is significantly higher than normal, consider ovarian hypofunction. If the estrogen level is significantly higher than normal, ovarian hypogonadism is considered. If this is the case, it is recommended to have a gonadal hormone test at the same time, that is, on days 2-4 of the menstrual cycle, blood tests for gonadal hormone, anti-Müllerian hormone, pelvic ultrasound and inhibin B will be taken to assess ovarian function.
